Refund policy

Food Items


Barkin Dog Bakery prides ourselves on the quality and freshness of our dog treats. We do not carry any stock because all our treats are made-to-order. Due to the perishable nature of our treats we do not offer returns. However, if there is a quality issue with our product, we will offer a replacement based on approval. You must email us within 14 days of delivery with any concerns.  

To start a replacement request, email us at thebarkindogbakery@gmail.com. Please write, Replacement Request, in the subject line to ensure a timely response. You will need to include the reason for your request, pictures of your item, and the receipt or proof of purchase. 

If your replacement request is accepted, we’ll send you a confirmation email. We will need 3 business days to bake and package your order. Shipping timeframes are separate and dependent on the shipping carriers and your location.  


Non-Food Items 

 

Barkin Dog Bakery may accept returns on eligible items such as dog toys and non-customized items. To be considered, all items must be in new, unused condition with tags attached. You must email us within 14 days of delivery with any concerns.  

To start a return request, email us at thebarkindogbakery@gmail.com. Please write, Return Request, in the subject line to ensure a timely response. You will need to include the reason for your request and the receipt or proof of purchase. 

If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a confirmation email with instructions on how to return your item. Do not send items prior to authorization from Barkin Dog Bakery. Non-authorized items will not be processed and will not be returned/refunded. Return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded (minus any original shipping costs if applicable) on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at thebarkindogbakery@gmail.com.

 

Damages and Issues


Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the situation and make it right. Barkin Dog Bakery does not guarantee that dog treats will not arrive broken or cracked. We take extra care to package your items to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. However, we cannot control how your items are handled by the shipping carriers once they leave our location.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items


Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food) and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges


At this time, Barkin Dog Bakery does not offer exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (if eligible), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds


Please do not send items prior to authorization from Barkin Dog Bakery. Non-authorized items will not be processed and will not be returned/refunded. If we approve your request of an eligible item for a refund, we will email you with the necessary information to complete your return. Return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.  Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will let you know if the refund was approved or not.
